LA Recap and Bad Times for Indian Men

Back from Los Angeles. Didn't really have a purpose, except to visit some friends, but it was a great time.  The temperature was double what it was in NYC, and it is always nice to get outta the city once in a while, you almost get a sort of "island fever" if you are in manhattan for months and months without a break.  And have you noticed that people from LA really love LA?  Even when they are in New York, perhaps more so in that case!  They always love to talk about LA, 2Pac, and flash the westside.  I mean I have a good time when I go to LA, but is it really all that? I still think New York is a way better city overall.  The main reason for this is that it is indeed a real city!  LA is just a bunch of different communities and small cities put together by freeways, and it takes forever to get from one place to another! Thats the main problem with LA, shit is too far apart, and when you go out, you are committted to the place you are going, especially since 2am the city shuts down.  It is also hard to see everyone you know, because when people say they "live in LA", it really means they live in the greater LA metropolitan area, which could mean 2 hours apart!  I managed to see most of my friends, but in 3 days, I couldn't see them all unfortunately.  But regardless, you gotta love the city you are from, and represent your roots. 

Despite these criticisms, through my many visits, LA can be a fun place, especially when you got some good friends out there.  Laid back, great weather, the ocean, the celebs, great looking girls, and alwyas a good time when you go out. Of course us New Yorkers are more high strung, move quicker, talk quicker, and are always on the go!  That is a difference you can alwyas feel. I think in your 20's NYC is great, but perhaps in your 30s or 40s and when you get married, LA area  is not a bad option to live.  For me however, I love NYC, and I would like to hold down the fort here for quite some time to come!

In other news, a shocking blow for the Indian community, and a great victory for the Asians males!  Check this out.  You think it was hard for the brown folk to get white girls?  Well all you desis out there,  might as well give it up now!  I would like to add that being Pakistani, I feel this data doesn't apply to myself :)

Hey Suga!! You made it over here too eh. It's an interesting blog but Ali never seems to respond to his comments, which is boring. Readers are warmed by feedback.

Anyway, as far as the new statistical indications. I think this is the reason for the new wave of desi chicks dating non-desis....HAH! I had to be the one to set it straight.
